The Clinical Hub provides the option to put all available rotations in one place for the schools to see.  Schools no longer need to contact the hospital directly and ask if a unit is available – they can go online, look for themselves at anytime, and make a request.  You approve only those requests which meet your criteria.  The nice thing is since there can only be one student in one slot, schools cannot double-book.

Another benefit of one student to one slot is it enables a hospital to see exactly who is coming to their facility.  Not only who is coming, but who was there – by unit, by date, by shift.  An exposure event from last week?  You can see who was exposed.  A patient satisfaction issue from a month ago?  You can find who was on the unit.  A legal question from last year? You can help track down the information.

The Clinical Hub lets you analyze actual rotation use.  You can generate reports that let you see which slots  had been allocated and which were used. This information is helpful to make future slot allocations to ensure the slots you provide are used efficiently -- so schools that need more slots can get them.
